Does Lightening Strike Twice?

Are the Football Gods against us?
Whatta week this has been! The Dodgers extend their lead to 10 1/2 games, I held my Fantasy Football league draft and College Football 2013 kicked off! After months of anticipation our beloved BYU Cougars opened their season in Charlottesville, VA against the Virginia Cavaliers. Unfortunately, as the ghost of Thomas Jefferson smiled from above, the heavens opened and lightening, thunder and torrential rain doused the stadium leading to a 2 hour 9 minute weather delay. Unless you resided in Utah or Virginia, the majority of this game was not available for viewing. Those ding-dong wing nuts at ESPN cut away from the game with just a few tics left in the first half, moving the telecast down the dial to ESPN3. As far as I know, there are a handful of Eskimos in Barrow, AK who receive that channel. And to pour vinegar on the wound, those dang Cougars gave yet another game away at the end losing to UVA's hapless ACC castoffs 19-16. [According to my ESPN Score Center App] A potential perfect day turned into one big soggy quagmire! Needless to say, the BYU Faithful has fallen into deep depression with Texas, Utah, Boise State, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech and Wisconsin still looming on the schedule. I love BYU's competitive schedule, but has Tom Holmoe gone overboard? So, I ask the question, will the Cougs be bowl eligible at season's end? We'll see.....Hopefully, the skies will clear and heads will be held high next week with a big win over the Texas Longhorns in Provo! Can't wait...
Taysom Hill, Future All-American or another Jake Heaps?
